Scorpions «Fly to the Rainbow» 1974

Scorpions «Fly to the Rainbow» 1974
MP3 320 Kbps | 96 Mb
Genre: Hard Rock

Fly To The Rainbow (1974.) Scorpions' second album, and the first to feature Uli Roth on guitar. It's hard to believe that by the time the Scorpions released their SECOND album, they had already been together for NINE YEARS! What's even more astonishing is that Fly To The Rainbow, the band's second album, came a full TEN YEARS before their biggest hit, Rock You Like A Hurricane! The average Scorpions fan is left dazed and confused after hearing the band's 1972 debut, Lonesome Crow, since it sounds NOTHING like the later band.
The band kicks things off with a classic hard power rocker entitled Speedy's Coming. Of all the tracks on the album, this is probably the one that sounds the most like the band's eighties material that most fans know and love. The highly irregular rocker They Need A Million comes next. For this track, the band takes on somewhat of a Spanish sound. As weird as this may sound, it makes for a pretty interesting track. Drifting Sun, Fly People Fly, and the title track are all interesting little power ballads that almost certainly won't fail to please. It's such a shame the band's albums with guitarist Uli Roth are long out of print and underappreciated by the average Scorpions fan, different as they may be from the rest of the band's material.
Don't overlook the Scorpions pre-eighties material - it could end up being the biggest mistake of your life!
